Commendation for Book Launch at Annual Conference

At the Annual Conference we like to celebrate a book launch by a member or delegate. This year we're delighted that the book we are launching, by one of our international delegates, has received a commendation from the Award Committee of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association. Members of the committee found the book to be a compelling institutional history, with value and applicability.

The book is: Transformations: A History of UBC Continuing Studies - Dr Scott McLean and Dr Eric Damer.  Published by the University of British Columbia, Canada, the book celebrates the 75 year history of the University of British Columbia's commitment to lifelong learning for the community.

This book will be launched at the Drinks Reception, prior to the Conference Dinner at Durham Castle; full details of the UALL 2013 Annual Conference can be found here
